Pastors Jared and Chris reflect on how God has moved over the last year, share our new vision statement, and celebrate what's stirring for 2022. Join us as we live into the truth of Ephesians 3:20: Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Places of Honor - Multiply Series (10) - Acts 12:1-5

In Mark 10:35 James and John asked Jesus if they could be seated in places of honor when He got his glorious throne. Jesus reminded them his Kingdom would be different and that they didn't really know what they were really asking. In Acts 12:2 we find King Herod has James killed with the sword. We find in this passage people tend to look after their own self-interest, and how the hunger for power is always contrary to God's kingdom work.

Looking Forward - 2021 New Year's Sermon

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. But we must hold on to the progress we have already made. Philippians 3:13-16

Against all Hope - 2021 Christmas Advent Series (4)

Hopelessness can be found in all sorts of places and circumstances: relationships, work, failures, mistakes, self. The truth is: you can’t move forward without hope. As believers, even in the midst of hopelessness, we have hope that should fuel our daily lives to pursue the great commission and great commandment. In this sermon, we see how, because of the birth of Jesus, we can be a beacon of hope to the world around us!!!

The Difference Maker - Multiply Series (3) - Acts 9:36-43

Because Tabitha believed in Jesus, she cared. Because she cared, she saw the needs around her and made a difference. Because Tabitha made a difference, her friends had hope. Tabitha was a difference-maker, but she was not the difference-maker. When believers are present it should always make a difference. Do you see the needs around you? Are you a difference maker?

Church Planting - On Mission Series (6)

In this sermon, we look at how making disciples always turns into new expressions of God at work and how church planting is inevitable in a healthy church. We'll look at the need for church planting in our region, address some common objections to church planting, and then see some biblical foundations for church planting. Don't miss it as we cast some vision for the future of New Beginnings and eastern Kentucky!
