Pastor of Teaching nad Leadership: JARED ARNETT (bethany)
Jared and Bethany have been in ministry for more than 10 years. Jared was our founding Pastor and continues to serve as Lead Pastor. He came into ministry from the marketplace while working full-time as the Founding Executive Director of Shaping Our Appalachian Region, Inc. (SOAR) where he believes God allowed him to put his faith into action by helping the disadvantaged population of Appalachia Kentucky. He has an MBA and several certificates in economic development. In 2020, after 6 years in his role at SOAR, he left his full-time position to focus on ministry. He is also an entrepreneur and is a co-founder and partner of Mountain Music Exchange where he has an outlet to share his love of music with the community. Bethany is an educator, writer, and creative partner. She spent several years as a high school English teacher before becoming a full-time mom and home schooler. She assists in day to day operations, kids ministry, and communications for New Beginnings. They met in college at the University of Pikeville (it was Pikeville College then), and have been happily married for 19 years and they have an 14 year old daughter, Rosalind "Rozzie" and 5 year old son, Harker.

Discipleship Pastor: Chris Bartley (Billie)
As Discipleship Pastor, Chris oversees Students, Kids, and Small Groups Ministries. As a long-time Student Pastor, he continues to lead our Student Ministry for 7th-12th graders.

KIDS Ministry Coordinator: Devin Clevinger (Nikki)
Devin and Nikki oversee and serve all things KIDS (Infant-6th Grade) at New Beginnings. Devin is also a teacher at Mullins Elemntary, former softball coach, and he and Nikki’s heart for the next generation comes through in everything they do.
