J. Adam Butler, M.Ed., LPCC
Adam is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. He has worked in the behavioral health field since 2016 at Mountain Comprehensive Care Center. Adam is currently the clinic coordinator for Mountain Comprehensive Care Center at the Martin City Clinic and the Regional Case Manager Supervisor for the Big Sandy area. Adam has a passion to be used by God to help individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral health issues. Adam serves in his church as a youth Sunday school teacher at Fitzpatrick Baptist Church in Floyd County.
Adam Graduated with honors at Lindsey Wilson College with a Master’s in Counseling and Human Growth and Development.
The overwhelming need for mental health support coming out of the pandemic led us to prayer and then searching for opportunities to provide professional counseling in the Pikeville area. God has provided! Through a partnership with Mountain Comprehensive Care Center (MCCC), we are now able to offer professional, faith-based counseling on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at New Beginnings. All major insurances are accepted and a sliding scale fee system is available for self-pay clients. Your privacy is completely respected!
